- Keep in mind that the flight leaves Cali for Guapi at 9:00 a.m., so you should be checking in at 7:00 a.m. and when you return the flight lands in Cali at 11:00 a.m. if it is not delayed, that is, if you have To schedule a return flight to a city other than Cali, we recommend doing so no earlier than 2:00 or 3:00 in the afternoon.
- For the adventurous, Guapi can be reached by boat from Buenaventura on a 4-hour trip (depending on the state of the sea) that departs from the main dock of Buenaventura at 9:00am and has an approximate price of $170,000 each way.
- Important note about transportation to the starting location: Our expeditions begin at the indicated place according to the proposed itinerary. For this reason, in the vast majority we do not include in the price the value of the transfer (land or air) from your city of residence to the city where the expedition begins. If you have purchased an air or land ticket on your own to attend this expedition and the transport company (airline or land transportation company) cancels the trip or postpones it or if there are significant delays due to weather, technical aspects of the aircraft or vehicles, situations at airports, transport terminals or roads, pilots or drivers, etc., that prevent you from arriving at the start time of the expedition, these are considered risks inherent to the trip that the client assumes and in no case the unforeseen events of the client’s journey are transferred neither to the hotel nor to Ecoglobal Expeditions. It is very important that you understand that this is a situation in which Ecoglobal Expeditions has no responsibility. Remember that if you do not show up at the established time and date, without notifying us sufficiently in advance (please see the previous paragraph), this situation is considered a “No Show” and in principle we cannot give you any money refund, due to that we have carried out all the previous administrative and logistical work to guarantee the smooth development of the expedition (example: we have bought all the food for all the people, we have reserved accommodation and internal transportation, we have hired local guides, we have acquired insurance, we have reserved and paid permits to National Parks, etc.). It is also important that you keep in mind that in particular cases we do buy tickets for clients, at their express request. In this case Ecoglobal Expeditions acts as a facilitator and bridge between the client and the airline or ground transportation company that provides the service. This additional service that the operator offers does not hold it responsible at any time for delays in the itinerary caused by weather or other types of situations beyond the operator’s control. There is no contractual relationship between the operator and the client regarding this service.
