The park covers an area of 76,600 hectares and altitudes range from 800 to 4,050 meters above sea level. Its highest point is located in the Serranía de Los Órganos, on the San Luis hill, on the border between the municipalities of Fómeque, San Juanito, and El Calvario, and between the departments of Cundinamarca and Meta.
