Bogotá, known as a creative city, declared by UNESCO as a City of Music, also offers the best of performing arts, visual arts, cinema, architectural heritage, literature, festivals, and massive outdoor events.

The city is the host of world-class events such as the Ibero-American Theater Festival, Rock al Parque Festival, Estéreo Picnic Festival, Sacred Music Festival, Indiebo Independent Film Festival, ArtBo, among others.

Among many exceptional places, Bogotá is home to the Gold Museum, the best in the world in its genre; the Botero Museum, the most complete collection of contemporary art in Latin America valued at over 450 million euros and donated by Colombian painter Fernando Botero, the Ibero-American Theater Festival, the largest in the world and the only one that brings together such a complete and varied sample of theater, the National Artists Salon, the Bogotá Arts Biennial, the Bogotá International Art Fair, the Luis Caballero Awards, the Young Artists Salon, the Bogotá International Art Fair… Art exhibitions in nearly 70 galleries and 58 museums, theater performances in 45 venues, and cinema in over 40 theaters.
