The following itinerary is informative.

Day 1

After arriving in Puerto Carreno we will drive to the Bita river’s camp. We’ll have lunch and opportunity to enjoy the unique landscape of this majestic river in the middle of unspoiled scenario. At night we will have dinner.

In the case of people who prefer hotel accommodation in Puerto Carreño, we will go from the airport to the hotel, to prepare to go fishing. In this case always at the end of the day we return to Puerto Carreño for dinner and accommodation.

Day 2,3,...

We will launch at 6 am by boat, fishing in different zones of the river. At 10:00 am we will have breakfast and rest in the camping area, then we will continue fishing till 2:00 pm and will head back to our camp site to have lunch. From 3:00 till 6:00 pm we will take advantage of our last fishing hours. At the evening we will have dinner and time to have a bath in the river.

Last day

We will depart after breakfast to Puerto Careno to take our flight to Bogota.

This is an adventure and fishing expedition to one of the most remote and remote regions of the country. The tourist infrastructure is almost nonexistent. The expeditionaries must be willing to fish under the sun of the Orinoquía savanna.

If you are coming from a different city to Bogota we recommend scheduling your return to your hometown either at the last hour of the day of return from Puerto Carreño or the following day so as not to have inconveniences if there are delays in air or land transfers to Bogota (Already happened to us …)
