Air Ticket (if it is included)
Usually the flight tickets are bought with promotional rates, therefore any change in the reservation gives rise to a penalty according to the airline policies. In the event that the participant cancel his participation in the expedition, Ecoglobal Expeditions will give you the ticket issued by the airline to be used on another date, after the procedure for the penalties that are applied or to process the money back that you have the right directly with the airline.
Land Package
Keep in mind that once the participant is enrolled in our programs, we incur in expenses such as hotel services advances, ground transportation, entrances fees to parks, camping equipment, insurance, local guides, local operators, etc. Also understand that our programs have a minimum quota to make viable their economic development, if you withdrawn yourself from the trip without informing in advance or in the middle of the expedition, you can cause a financial imbalance which was not counted.
We understand that there are force majeure circumstances, therefore our policy is that in the event that the participant withdraw in the middle of the trip or are not present on the day of the trip or report of your non-participation without proper notice, Eco Global Expeditions will do everything possible to repay the monies paid, taking into account what may be retrieved from the payments already made and discounting financial and administrative expenses that are incurred and taking into account the following policies:
Cancellations made after reservation cause a 10% of the amount of the expedition.
Cancellations made between 10 and 15 days before to the start of the trip cause a 25% of the amount of the expedition.
Cancellations made between 9 to 5 days before to the start of the trip cause a 40% of the amount of the expedition
Cancellations made between 4 to 2 days before the start of the trip cause an 80% to the amount of the expedition
Cancellations made 1 day before or not presentation or withdraw in the middle of the expedition, cause a 100 % of the amount of the expedition.
For one day treks
In the event of made the payment and cannot attend to any of the day treks, please contact us to the phones ( + 571)616 9088 or (+57)310 823 3974 24 hours in advance in order to give the opportunity to another person to attend. The money deposited is not returned, so what we do is that we pay for another trek.
In case of not informing the non-attendance with advance (24 hours), the amount paid for a next trek will be 50% of the amount deposited.
